How to speak text to file on PC?

Download audacity from its offical page.
Install audacity into your system.
Open audacity, set Recording Device to Stereo Mix ([Audio Device name])
This will only record audio from playback, not from microphone.
Remember not to play any other audio/music except the one you would like to record.
Come back to the eSilence > Text To Speech
Put your text to speak inside Text to speak box
Once ready, return to audacity and click the Record RED button
Come back to the eSilence > Text To Speech, and tap Speak button.
Tap Stop button if you need to stop the speech.
Remember not to play any other audio/music except the one you would like to record.

In design, g is surely silent. However, does it always apply for its word family? Let's check all these words

design
designed
designing
designate
designer
designation

Guess which words will have the same G silent rule as design?

There will be two groups here.

Silent G:

design : /dɪˈzaɪn/
designed : /dɪˈzaɪnd/
designing : /dɪˈzaɪnɪŋ/
designer : /dɪˈzaɪnə(r)/

Are you wondering why? The reason is because of the main word stress, -sign, and its very weak followings.

No silent G:

designate /ˈdezɪɡneɪt/
designation /ˌdezɪɡˈneɪʃn/

And here, why is G still pronounced. You can easily answer by yourselves by looking at their stress and strong followings.
